A Walk in the Dark

I haven't the foggiest notion when this photo was taken, though I think we were on our way down to a Town Day show at the Esplanade grounds in New Amsterdam. Yeah, that's right -- there was a fashion show that night (Friday) featuring the reigning Miss Guyana and several of her former rivals. That was an interesting show. The clothes were, like most fashion shows, a little preposterous and unwearable, but the eye candy factor was very high. Unfortunately, so was the density of biting mosquitos and no-see-ums that night.
